Bible Lesson Preview
This week, Pastor Brad will be teaching an Easter lesson. In Luke 24, a group of women find Jesus’s tomb empty and are told by angels that He has risen. But how can we know that the resurrection is true? Like any good detective, there are clues in God’s Word that tell us if we are brave enough to notice them. The good news is that the resurrection is by no means the end of the story. It’s the beginning of a new life! Jesus’s rising means we are loved, death is defeated, and His promises are true. Through this lesson, Kids are encouraged to trust and celebrate that Jesus is alive and with them today.

👉 Big Idea:
Jesus’s empty tomb proves He is alive, and that changes everything for us.
📖 Bible Passage:
“Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen.”—Luke 24:5-6
💡 Discussion Questions:
If you were one of the women, and someone asked you later, “Are you sure Jesus is alive?” — what would you say? Encourage kids to think about standing confidently for the truth even when others doubt. Faith in Jesus’s resurrection is bold and joyful. What would you tell someone today who doesn’t believe Jesus rose from the dead? How can you be brave when people doubt what you believe?
What does it mean that Jesus didn’t just rise quietly — He appeared to many people, even eating meals with them? Why is that important? Jesus made it crystal clear that He was physically alive, not just a spirit. His resurrection was real in every way. Kids need to see that it’s trustworthy and touchable, not just a story. If you were at one of those meals with Jesus, what would you ask Him? Why do you think Jesus wanted people to touch Him and see Him eat?
How would you explain to a friend why the resurrection matters in your own life today? This moves from head knowledge to heart faith. The resurrection isn’t just a fact; it brings hope, love, courage, and forgiveness into our everyday lives. How does knowing Jesus is alive change the way you feel today? What would you tell a friend who feels hopeless?
